Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Join Our Team as a Traveling RN in Emergency Room!
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team as a travel nurse. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
- Work in a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, treating over 60,000 patients annually
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed, utilizing your flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the community
- Enjoy a competitive schedule with every other weekend and holidays off, with the option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
- Contribute to a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on education, professional development, and teamwork
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license
- Current certifications in:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
- NIH (TNCC, SECURE)
- 2 years of experience in emergency nursing; however, we will consider 18 months of experience with 1 year of specialty experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
