Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg department in a state-of-the-art, rural hospital in Northeast Oregon. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care to both adult and pediatric patients, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and maintain accurate patient records, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, utilizing clinical judgment and expertise • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practice and patient outcomes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of nursing experience, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care • Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision, utilizing sound clinical judgment and expertise • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Schedule:

• Full-time, 13-week position with a day shift schedule • Work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
