We are seeking a skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in various settings, including ICU, ED, General Units, and PICU • Conduct pulmonary function tests, administer oxygen therapy, and provide ventilator management • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in respiratory therapy

Requirements:

• Current RRT certification • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications • Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy • Prior travel experience is preferred • Teaching hospital experience required • Epic experience within the past 2 years is required • Strong documentation skills to accurately record patient information and specialty details

Important Details:

• Must work weekends and holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day) • Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays • Reliable transportation is required (personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended) • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
