Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality patient care, working closely with our licensed physical therapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, including gait analysis, range of motion evaluations, and strength assessments • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with licensed physical therapists • Assist licensed physical therapists with exercises, modalities, and other interventions • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling, billing, and insurance verification

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) through the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) • Current state licensure as a PTA • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Basic life support (BLS) certification
