Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a 24-bed Med Surg/Tele overflow unit • Collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians • Participate in Code Blue and Code Red responses as necessary • Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse • Traveler experience required; no first-time travelers will be accepted • Current BCLS certification • Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start • Familiarity with Pyxis, Epic, and SBAR systems
