Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify residents' needs and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional ability, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Provide occupational therapy interventions, such as: • Adaptive equipment training • Sensory integration techniques • Daily living skills instruction • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques, strategies, and equipment • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and progress notes • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care or skilled nursing facility setting • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy theory, research, and best practices • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
