Physical Therapy Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in San Angelo, TX. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and care of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
• Conduct patient evaluations, take vital signs, and document patient information
• Assist with exercises, modalities, and other treatments as directed by physical therapists
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

Requirements:

• Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• New graduate candidates are welcome to apply
• SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience is preferred
• Covid-19 testing and vaccination requirements will be discussed during the hiring process

Credentialing Requirements:

• State license verification
• Resume and references attached
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination and negative test results within 72 hours of start date

Additional Requirements:

• County and federal criminal background checks (7 years or more)
• Multi-state and nationwide sex offender searches (7 years or more)
• HHS/OIG and GSA searches
• Social Security number trace
• 1-step PPD or Quantiferon test and proof of positive result, along with a chest X-ray
• Negative drug screen results
• CPR certification (fundamental facilities)
