About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support the delivery of physical therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists with patient evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation • Conduct patient assessments, including range of motion, strength, and functional ability evaluations • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and activities • Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobilization • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling and data entry

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or equivalent • Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of [insert state] • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
