About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support the delivery of evidence-based treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists with patient assessments, treatments, and interventions • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and mobility • Conduct patient education on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home safety measures • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department

Requirements:

• Current state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (new graduates welcome) • SNF experience preferred • Covid test results within 72 hours of start date • Proof of positive PPD and Chest X-Ray (as required by the facility)
