Here is the formatted job description: **Interventional Radiology Technologist** **Location:** City, TX **Schedule:** Days **Job Type:** Full-time **Required Qualifications:** • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification • Certification in one of the following within two years of hire: ARRT-CI Cardiac-Interventional (ARRT-CI), ARRT-CV Cardiovasc-Inter Rad (ARRT-CV), or ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI) • Ability to perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner • Ability to explain the procedure and put patients at ease • Ability to provide services quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively • Ability to follow established System and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures • Ability to perform tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight • Ability to stay calm and helpful, even during stressful times **Key Responsibilities:** • Perform interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service needs • Prepare patient and area for procedure by positioning patient and adjusting immobilization devices • Protect patients and employees by following safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques • Maintain hand hygiene requirements and equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure equipment operates well • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation • Review patient satisfaction scores and develop action plans when needed • Demonstrate and maintain current knowledge, continued education, and skills for appropriate care of various age groups **We Offer:** • Competitive benefits package • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and supportive work environment **At [Company],** we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our employees.
