**Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele** **Location:** Tuscaloosa, AL **Schedule:** Nights, with flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays as required. **Contract:** 16-26 weeks **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a Medical Surgical/Tele Renal 4S unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with community nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to deliver exceptional care. **Responsibilities:** * Provide direct patient care to patients with kidney-related conditions, including post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans * Float to other units and hospitals as needed * Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in renal care **Requirements:** * Associate degree in nursing * Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Alabama or Compact license * 2 years of experience in a medical surgical or telemetry setting, with 1 year of experience in renal care * Current AHA BLS certification * Strong communication and collaboration skills **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals * Flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend and holidays as required * 16-26 week contract available
