**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Emergency Room **Location:** Asheville, NC 28801 **Schedule:** Days **Job Type:** Travel **Unit Information:** * Unit Size: 101 beds * Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds * Unit Staffing Description: Techs available, work in cardiac monitoring unit and internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights * Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors * Documentation System: Cerner **Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individualized needs * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care * Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams * Demonstrate expertise in emergency nursing practices and procedures **Requirements:** * 2 years' experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED * Previous HCA experience preferred * Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS * Ability to work in all areas of the ED * Teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real-time **What We Offer:** * A dynamic and supportive work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Competitive compensation package * Comprehensive benefits package **Join Our Team:** If you are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, apply today to join our team!
