Respiratory Therapist Location: Norfolk, VA Shift: Days Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities: • Provide patient care and treatment in a variety of settings, including the ICU, OR, and respiratory therapy department • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy techniques, treatment options, and self-care strategies • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in respiratory therapy, including new technologies and treatments Requirements: • Active VA license • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care If you are a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, please apply today.
