Tech First Assist

Job Title: First Assist Location: Richmond, VA Shift: Days Job Type: Travel We are seeking a skilled and flexible First Assist to join our team at Henrico Doctors Hospital- Forest Campus in Richmond, VA. **Key Responsibilities:** • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures • Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up equipment and supplies • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment • Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical operations • Perform various administrative tasks, such as documenting patient information and managing inventory **Requirements:** • 2 years of experience as a First Assist or related field • Proficiency in all three areas of First Assist: RN, Scrub, and Assist • Flexible and willing to take call in all areas where there is the greatest need • Positive attitude and strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Live within 30-minute response time to the OR **Working Conditions:** • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to work weekends and holidays • Spend most of the day on your feet, with occasional sitting and standing • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient care **What We Offer:** • Competitive compensation package • Opportunities for professional growth and development • Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a motivated and flexible individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
