Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex and varied medical conditions, including Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult), Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia, Chronic Leukemia, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, and Myeloproliferative Disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patients for potential side effects and interactions.
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement education plans, and provide guidance to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Participate in autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplant procedures, and provide post-transplant care to patients.
• Utilize advanced skills, such as telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and use of Rapid Response Teams, to ensure timely and effective interventions.
• Manage feeding tubes, blood products, central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines, and perform peripheral line care and management.
Required Qualifications:
• Oncology Certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
• Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) experience
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with CAR-T Therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
