Registered Nurse ICU

**Registered Nurse - ICU** **Location:** Pasadena, TX **Shift:** Nights **Job Type:** Travel We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. **About the Unit:** * The ICU is a 26-bed unit that provides critical care services to patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries. * The unit is staffed by a team of experienced nurses, including day and night shifts, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 and 1:1. * The unit is equipped with advanced medical equipment, including mechanical ventilators, balloon pumps, CRRT's, Impella, and EKOS. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide high-quality patient care, including bedside trache and PEG insertions, central line insertions, and other procedures as needed. * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. * Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant information to the healthcare team. * Participate in code blue and rapid response situations as needed. **Requirements:** * 1 year of ICU experience required. * ACLS/BLS/NIH certification preferred or nice to have. * Experience with CRRT, Impella, and balloon pumps a plus. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Certifications:** * ACLS/BLS/NIH certification required. **Work Schedule:** * 7pm-7am, every other weekend. * 13 weeks of travel. **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay rate. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Collaborative and supportive work environment.
