**Registered Nurse - Emergency Room** **Location:** Columbus, OH **Shift:** Days We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of the department. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide direct patient care to patients in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans * Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare team members * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and department operations * Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices **Requirements:** * Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required * Oncology experience preferred, but not required * EPIC experience required * Current certification in: + BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) + ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) + NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) + PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) **Skills:** * Proficient in IV starts * Experience with telemetry monitoring * Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Work Environment:** * The Emergency Room is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability * The department is committed to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive work environment for all staff members * Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time **What We Offer:** * Competitive compensation package * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your request for time off, to join our team.
