Tech Cath Lab/EP
Job Title Tech - Cath Lab/EP North Charleston, SC Full-time
Key Responsibilities • Perform various technical duties in the Electrophysiology (EP) laboratory, including preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with EP procedures, such as ablations and device implantations. • Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or complications to the physician. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedure outcomes, and equipment usage.
Required Qualifications • Current certification as a medical technologist (MT) or registered medical technologist (RMT) • Previous experience in a cath lab or EP setting, including scrubbing EP procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with EP equipment, such as cath labs and electrophysiology devices • Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
