Registered Nurse LTAC

Job Title: Registered Nurse - LTAC

Location: Louisville, KY

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Travel, Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities: • Provides care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures • Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available • Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications: • 2 years recent LTAC & vent/trach experience • KY RN license • ACLS & BLS certifications (must be through American Heart Association) • 2 years recent telemetry experience

Preferred Experience / Skills: • 2-5 years experience in LTAC setting • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
