Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Nights
Key Responsibilities:
• Data collection and unit information management • Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Conducting assessments, administering medications, and providing wound care as needed
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in a main emergency room • Must have a current Paramedic License/Certification • Experienced with running lab equipment (Picolo, Istat, Triage Meter, ID Now, Clinitek) • Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and NRP certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a Freestanding ER • Experience with Lucas Device, Nurse run Lab, Ventilator, CPAP/BiPap, Blanketrol, and Lifepack 15 • Ability to manage high acuity patients with limited staff until transfer
