**Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Location:** Seattle, WA **Schedule:** Nights, posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs **Job Type:** Full-time travel contract **Required Qualifications:** • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high acuity and high pace environment • Current NURSYS certification with at least 5 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery • Current supervisory references • Proof of required certifications (BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate) • Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC system • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and follow AWHONN guidelines **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide high-quality patient care in a labor and delivery setting, including postpartum care of newborns • Perform special procedures such as fetal monitoring, heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate administration, and newborn assessments • Circulate and provide newborn care, including eyes, Vit K injections, and thigh assessments • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients • Float to sister facilities that support mother/baby care, including adult recovery services and community care clinics • Meet unit needs and schedule requirements **Requirements:** • Must not be a first-time traveler • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery • Must have current supervisory references and proof of required certifications • Must pass clinical review • Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as needed **Preferred Qualifications:** • ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications **Note:** We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds.
