Job Title: Tech - Surgical
Location: Cody, WY
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the OR Circulating RN in preparing the room for the start of surgery, including opening sterile packages, selecting equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. • Set up instruments and equipment required for the procedure and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room. • Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in delivering patient care. • Serve on committees as assigned and participate as a professional member of the Surgical Services team. • Assist with cleaning the surgical suite and related areas, provide guidance and instruction to fellow coworkers, and check outdates and condition of supplies and equipment. • Improve the efficiency of surgeons and other professionals in the operating room.
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience • BLS and EPIC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience in surgical services or a related field • Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
