Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location Morgantown, WV
Schedule / Job Type: 3x12 Nights, 7p-7a, Weekdays, some weekends
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit, including progressive care and tele patients • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers • Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques
Required Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of WV • BCLS and ACLS certifications • IV start and telemetry skills • 1.5-2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical or stepdown unit • 1 year of experience in MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in a progressive care or tele unit • Familiarity with Cerner EMR system • Strong communication and teamwork skills
