Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: State College, PA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Provides professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge through use of the nursing process • Assesses patient needs, develops plans of care, implements nursing measures, and evaluates effectiveness of care • Functions as a team member and liaison between patient and staff • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and co-workers in a highly professional manner
Required Qualifications: • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania • Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing
