Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients with various physical disabilities, injuries, or conditions to promote mobility, strength, and function. • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including exercises, modalities, and education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention. • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address concerns, provide education, and promote adherence to treatment plans. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and current research in physical therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings • Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, or pediatrics populations • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems • Certification in specialty areas, such as sports physical therapy or pediatric physical therapy
