Job Title Registered Nurse - NICU

Schedule Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns in a Level 4 NICU setting • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, identifying potential complications and concerns • Educate patients' families on care and treatment, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment

Required Qualifications:

• Current California RN license • 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience • Cardiac experience and proficiency with cardiac medications and interventions • Advanced NRP and PALS certification preferred • BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, and specialty gases • Familiarity with PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes • Comfort with line changes and pre and post-op care • Willingness to float between units and satellite campuses • Strong surgical experience from a Level 3 NICU performing surgeries on newborns • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
