Therapist Respiratory Therapist

Job Title: Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Location Fargo, ND Schedule / Job Type Rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities: • Assess individuals to prevent, detect, monitor and manage disease and complications • Provide therapeutic interventions to directly impact cardiopulmonary health and overall health status • Educate patients to promote preventative care, self-management, enhanced cardiopulmonary health and quality of life • Conduct regular assessments of patients and equipment to adjust therapy • Collect and/or analyze patients' blood and other specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases • Measure the patient's lung capacity to determine if there are any impairments • Offer diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on the analysis of the patient

Required Qualifications: • Two years of minimum experience • ND license • BLS - AHA required • ACLS - AHA and PALS - AHA preferred • RRT - NBRC certification • Strong background in working with ICU patients and ER patients

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in a facility with 300+ beds • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Experience working in NICU, PICU or adult ICU • Familiarity with Epic computerized charting system
