Job Title: Tech - Surgical
Location Great Falls, MT
Schedule / Job Type Rotating
Key Responsibilities
• Maintains the sterile field in the operating room, ensuring proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection. • Assists the surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. • Participates in prompt turnover of surgical cases, case setup, and proper care of surgical instruments and equipment. • Performs delegated patient care duties.
Required Qualifications
• Current certifications required for the position • Knowledge of compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse • Ability to maintain current certifications and stay informed about new procedures, techniques, and equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in an operating room environment • Knowledge of OSHA standards for PPE and Universal pre-cautions • Familiarity with clinic equipment and business operations
