Therapist Speech Language Pathologist

Job Title: Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist Location Coleman, TX Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate and assess individuals with communication and swallowing disorders • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills • Conduct therapy sessions with patients in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and schools • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing strategies

Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution • State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting • Knowledge of rehabilitation software and technology • Experience with speech and language assessments and evaluations • Bilingual or multilingual skills
