Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Required Qualifications:
• Current RN license in the state of Texas • 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care setting • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Previous experience in ICUs or critical care settings • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical documentation systems • Strong communication and teamwork skills
