Key Responsibilities: • Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans • Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify treatment goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists • Provide manual therapy techniques, modalities, and exercises to patients
Required Qualifications: • State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant • Current CPR certification • High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting • Knowledge of rehabilitation software and electronic medical records systems • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
