Registered Nurse Oncology
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology Location: Peoria, IL Schedule: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering chemotherapy, monitoring treatment effects, and managing side effects • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals • Track and manage patient charts, lab results, and medication schedules • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs and goals
Required Qualifications • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois • Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Oncology • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification preferred • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as EPIC/Beacon • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
