Registered Nurse PICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PICU

Location: Naperville, IL

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) setting. • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient and their family. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care. • Monitor patients' vital signs, medical history, and treatment progress, and report any changes or concerns to the medical team. • Educate patients and their families on proper care techniques, disease management, and prevention of complications.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois • BLS certification and experience in pediatric critical care • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) or similar setting • Knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols and guidelines • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software
