Therapist Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Title: Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant Location: North Fort Myers, FL Schedule: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities: • Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and rehabilitation services • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans • Implement and modify treatment programs to achieve patient goals • Educate patients on exercises and activities to promote recovery and independence • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Required Qualifications: • State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) • Current CPR certification • Basic life support certification (BLS)
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting • Knowledge of rehabilitation software and electronic medical records (EMRs) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
