Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: North Kansas City, MO

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights, 3x12 hour shifts, Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri or Compact licensure
• 2 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting
• Proficiency in Cerner charting system
• Current certification in American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
• Pass an EKG exam on orientation day with an 80% or higher
• Complete required CEUs as specified by the employer

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
