Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and manage medication therapies, including chemo and bio therapies.
- Float between units as needed, including specialized units such as stem cell transplant, with flexibility to cover different departments.
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- ONS chemotherapy/bio certification strongly preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in oncology, stem cell transplant, or related specialties preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to floating between units.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for this assignment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital setting with adult oncology patients.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
- Comfortable working in all-color scrub environments or business casual attire as appropriate.
