Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Full-time / Contract (13 weeks) / Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using MEDITECH EMR system.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, and airway support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support behavioral health de-escalation and trauma assist procedures.
• Follow all unit policies, including safety protocols and dress code requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Texas or appropriate state licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Ability to multitask, work effectively in a team, and act as a self-starter.
• Experience with MEDITECH electronic medical records.
• Hold current NIHSS and CPI certifications preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Trauma care and inpatient experience.
• Experience with rapid infusers, central lines, and behavioral health procedures.
• Previous experience working with Alaris pumps and Belmont infusion systems.
