Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist during surgical procedures across various specialties including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (Epic).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, or orthopedic nursing strongly preferred.
• Ability to work days with variable start times (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM).
• Willingness to be on-call and potentially cover night shifts as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a busy OR environment with multiple surgical specialties.
• Comfortable floating between units as needed.
• Able to accommodate a block schedule based on unit manager approval.
