Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit during assigned shifts.
• Collect and analyze patient health data, including assessments of vital signs and clinical observations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Pennsylvania or appropriate state.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, current and maintained.
• Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting preferred.
• Knowledge of current nursing practices, assessment, and documentation standards.
• Ability to prioritize patient needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and related cardiac care.
