Tech Nuclear Medicine
Job Title: Tech - Nuclear Medicine
Location: Lafayette, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with varying start times from 5a to 9a. Rotating call for after-hours, including weekends.
Specialty: Nuclear Medicine
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• First-time applicants accepted
• BLS, CNMT, or NMTCB certification required
• IN state license required
Responsibilities:
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including:
• Gastric emptying scans
• HIUDA scans
• Muga scans
• 3-phase and whole-body bone scans
• Liver imaging
• Perfusion and ventilation/perfusion studies
• Exercise/rest and pharmacological stress tests
• Isolation precautions
• Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs
• Storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
Note: Must be able to multitask and work effectively as a team player in adult and nuclear cardiology settings.
