Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit setting • Conduct neurological and trauma care assessments, including neuro and spinal checks • Place C-Collar devices and TLSO braces as needed • Administer medications and treatments, including PCA pumps, IV infusions, and chest tubes • Perform routine patient care activities, such as vital sign monitoring and wound care
Required Qualifications: • ACLS certification • BLS certification • NIHSS certification • Experience in neuro and trauma care
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience in progressive care units or stepdown units • Knowledge of EMR systems, such as Cerner
