Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' cardiac status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and changes in patient conditions.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current RN license in the state of practice.
- Prior experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down units preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and procedures.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working night shifts.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
