Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, contract (14-15 weeks), float required as needed, every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced general medical floor
• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Utilize hospital systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for patient care documentation and communication
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding RTO, float requirements, and orientation

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Valid RN license
• BCLS certification
• NIHP certification
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• IV start experience
• Familiarity with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience working in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit
