Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and implement care plans under physician guidance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently.
• Follow approved protocols and hospital policies to maintain high standards of care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Ability to obtain and maintain hospital orientation.
• Basic proficiency with hospital electronic health records and Kronos timekeeping system.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cardiac care and stepdown patient management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
