Key Responsibilities
- Assist the circulator and surgeon during surgical procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients at all times.
- Support qualified operating room personnel in various duties to ensure smooth surgical operations.
- Adhere to all applicable State and Federal regulations and policies governing healthcare.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Certification or license as a surgical technician or equivalent.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment under on-call requirements.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience assisting in surgical settings.
- Familiarity with hospital or surgical center equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
