Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients
- Conduct patient intake, medication reconciliation, and health history assessments
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using EMR systems like Meditech and Mosaiq
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout treatment sessions
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiation Therapist or in a Radiation Oncology setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous radiation oncology experience, including procedures like patient positioning and treatment setup
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Meditech and Mosaiq
- compassion and ability to provide empathetic patient care
