Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (7PM - 7AM), 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of routine and advanced ultrasound imaging procedures
- Support other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
- Participate in quality assurance, safety protocols, and ongoing professional education
- Ensure accurate image capture and proper storage within PACS systems
- Adhere to all policies, standards, and confidentiality requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program or equivalent
- At least 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Licensure/certification within 1 year of hire in one of the following:
- Sonography (S) by ARRT
- Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
- Certification in one of the preferred specialties (e.g., Vascular Sonography, Breast Sonography, Adult Echocardiography, Vascular Technologist) is a plus
- Current BLS certification and applicable state license if required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with vascular, breast, or echocardiography procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Familiarity with PACS and downtime procedures
