Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a 36-bed unit.
• Perform full patient assessments and focused assessments every 8 hours.
• Administer IV antibiotics and manage bladder scans, discharge education, and admission assessments.
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 6:1, with surge capacity up to 7:1 during busy periods.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Document all care accurately within Meditech EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to handle patient ratios of 6:1.
• Strong time management skills.
• Experience with basic procedures such as assessments, IV administration, and discharge instructions.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Meditech EMR experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Experience with medical-surgical patient care.
