Job Title

• Night shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Float to various Oncology Medical-Surgical (MS) and Progressive Care Units (PCU) as needed.
• Ensure staff and patient safety within a secure corrections environment.
• Provide care for patients with active oncology diagnoses, postoperative conditions, infections, or other non-oncology medical needs.
• Manage patient care utilizing EPIC electronic charting system and medication systems like Pyxis.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage IV therapies, and provide respiratory support as needed.
• Support interdisciplinary team with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation per unit protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to work in a secure, corrections-based environment with access controlled by Corrections Officers.
• Experience with medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and IV therapy.
• Knowledge of oncology patient care is preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology experience.
• Ability to interpret ABGs and manage respiratory devices such as CPAP/BIPAP.
• Previous experience in med-surg, telemetry, or stepdown units.
