Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment • Assess and prioritize patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes • Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to healthcare professionals • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
Required Qualifications:
• Current RN licensure in the state of California • BLS certification and ability to obtain ACLS certification • 2+ years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software • Knowledge of pediatric or gerontological nursing • Certification in a specialized area, such as trauma or flight nursing
